The form Chronomon takes when it goes berserk, Chronomon: Destroy Mode is a legendary monster that has renounced its duty of maintaining the peaceful order of space-time and has instead risen in revolt against the very time-governing system itself. While repairing space-time, all of the variformed malice existing in the Digital World flowed into Chronomon all at once, causing it to spin out of control, much as if it had been infected with a virus. Exploiting the innate temporal powers Chronomon originally possessed, Chronomon: Destroy Mode hacks into the memories etched into the Digital World and downloads a diverse arsenal of skills into itself for use in its rampages. Despite its berserk state, Chronomon: Destroy Mode still has the ability to burn foes to nothing with Holy Flare. It also possesses Chrono Devolution, which converts the Digital World's time data into energy that instantly ages any who touch it, reducing their data to dust.
